White cardstock, green cardstock.  navy cardstock, Versamark embossing ink, mini mister,  sponge dauber,  double sided tape, paper trimmer,  Schmincke Watercolor and brush. .........

Cut white card stock to measure 5 1/2 x 11 inches.  Using Scor-Pal, score and fold at 5 1/2 inches to create a top fold card.

Die cut the right side of the front card base using the Fleur border Basics Die.

Cut a navy panel at 5 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches.  Cut a white panel at 5 1/2 inches x 3 1/4 inches.
Adhere the layers to the card base with double sided tape.

Stamp The flowers on white card stock using Versamark Embossing Ink and sprinkle with white embossing powder.  Heat set and allow to cool.   The flowers were watercolored with light blue, yellow, rose and grey. I wanted to give a variation in the color of the leaves.    The flowers  were die cut and shaped using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Emma Lou has a wonderful video on shaping dimensional flowers  > https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/video/129/how-to-create-dimensional-roses

The pink flowers were sponged with Berrylicious Chalk Ink and the yellow flowers were sponged with Cantaloupe Ink.   The leaves were cut with green card stock and sponged with Olive Grove Ink.   They were lightly shaped with the flower Shaking Kit.

A light coat of Designer DriesClear adhesive was applied to the flowers and leaves and dipped in White Gala Glitz for a bit of sparkle.  Pearls were added to the center of some of the flowers and Power Outage Prills were applied to one of the flowers.

Thank you so much for stopping by and come back soon!

  3. Beautiful card, Marie. Love the edge of the card. The flowers look like sweet pieces off of a cake that you could pluck off and eat.
