Heartfelt Creations - Relaxing Bear Mixed Media Tag And Winner Announcement

Welcome!

It's time to announce the winner of my Beary Fun Retreat Collection Give-A Way!

The winner is  _
Thank you for your time in putting together this awesome step by step tutorial. I've always been intimidated with the process of coloring stamped images and I refrained from getting the bear collection because I have no idea how to even start to color them. Your tutorial made me think I can do this!
Big congratulations to you!   It feels great to celebrate our Heartfelt Creations crafting community!    I am so grateful for being voted in to be a part of the design team that I just wanted to "pass it on".    Enjoy!   Marie

And now - for this weeks Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday, I would like to share a mixed media tag I created!

Heavy white cardstock, green cardstock,  black gesso, mounting tape, texture paste, mini brick stencil,  honeycomb chipboard, eyelet, eyelet setter,  twine, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, heat tool,  Copic Alcohol Ink Markers (bear - E30, E31, E33, E34, E37, R20, wood/stick/marshmallow - E40, E41, E43, E47, Fire and sunflower - E02, E11, YR21, YR23, YR26,  stones - W0, W1, W3, W5, Y11), Crystal Stickles, quilling tool, circle paper punch, black acrylic paint, Black Soot Distress Ink.

Cut tag from heavy white cardstock to measure 7 x 3 3/4 inches.  Trim top as shown.  Apply black gesso to front and back of tag and heat set.  Apply texture paste over mini brick stencil and allow to dry.   Apply gesso over honeycomb chipboard.  Place the  honeycomb chipboard on the bottom corners.  Apply black acrylic paint over the front of the tag. Heat set.  Apply Light Blue Metallic 3D paint to the top of the card.   Apply Moss green Metallic 3D Paint to the bottom.   Apply Violet, Gold and a small amount of Carmine Red Metallic 3D Stamp Paint to the tag a shown.  This will create a fun and whimsical flowered meadow.  Allow to dry.

Stamp the bear, sunflower, fire and green leaves with Espresso Truffle Ink.  Color the bear image and fire with the following Copic markers (bear - E30, E31, E33, E34, E37, R20, wood/stick/marshmallow - E40, E41, E43, E47, Fire and sunflower - E02, E11, YR21, YR23, YR26,  stones - W0, W1, W3, W5, Y11).   Die cut the images. Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves ink.  Gently shape the leaves with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Apply green prills to the center of the sunflower.   Cut 3-4 additional cuts of the bear and adhere them together with Dries Clear Adhesive  This will pop the image up and give the image  strength.

Quill a loose green coil and pinch to make a shaped marquise.  Adhere the elements to the tag as shown.   Mat the sentiment from the Beary Fun paper collection with green cardstock and adhere at the bottom of the tag.

Sponge the edges of the  tag with Black Soot Distress Ink.  Punch hole at the top and insert and  eyelet.   Apply the twine to compete the tag.
